Family sized Yurt sleeping a maximum of 6 guests with all the creature comforts for that “live-In” experience.
About Your Yurt
Willow is our greenest of Yurts with an ingenious composting loo. Bask in the morning sunlight through an open oak stable door and four picture windows. All by itself on the west of the field you can be totally alone to enjoy to the fresh morning breeze, birdsong and the rustle of the leaves.
A luxurious double bed, and two single beds complete with large dining table and indoor kitchen. Fresh linen and chest of drawers makes your rural retreat a home from home. Willow’s extra thick natural wall insulation, fully carpeted floor and the warmth of a wood burning stove will keep you blissfully cosy.
We had a lovely time (despite the weather). The yurt was cozy and Rachel was very welcoming. She was a fantastic source of local information and provided for our every need. The setting is sooo peaceful. There are some lovely walks to be had, around the fields and woodland.
I recommend bringing some insect repellant. The midges weren't bad and didn't bother us, but might be worth taking some anyway.Joe6/27/2016
A stay in Willow Yurt with our family of five was fantastic. We had lots of space and really enjoyed going for walks around the area. Rach, the site manager, was exceptionally helpful and arranged a Halloween hunt and pumpkin carving which the children absolutely loved. It was a peaceful and different break to a usual hotel stay.Katherine10/26/2020
Fantastic little break, the location is beautiful surrounded by nature yet in the comfort of a beautiful accommodation .
Peaceful and the scenery is one I will remember especially the morning views .Victoria5/07/2018
We spent a wonderful week in 'Willow' Yurt with our two kids. They loved the duck pond/stream where they spent many an hour playing with sticks and building dens. The field was fantastic for flying kites and we all loved sitting around the fire pit in the evenings, toasting marshmallows and looking out for the first stars of the night.
Having the sink in the yurt was wonderful and there was ample space for all of us and our bits and pieces. Such a welcoming place. We (and the kids) slept well in the beds which were so warm and cosy.
We went on various walks from the site which took us along well-maintained paths and some more off the beaten track, so something for everyone. Do try the orienteering challenge - it takes you through some utterly beautiful countryside and was a real hit with all the family.
The coolbox system with fresh ice packs each morning works really well and the site itself was very well spaced out and peaceful. Bring wellies for the morning dew - although the ground drains surprisingly well, even after a whole day of rain 😉
Such a wonderful find.Karen8/22/2020
Loved it! Perfect for my friends and I. We had a wonderfully relaxing time.
The Yurt was spacious, incredibly clean and well equipped. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful and showed us how everything worked. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.Rebecca8/15/2016
I booked extremely last minute and Charlotte was very accommodating. She gave us a wonderfully warm welcome despite arriving later than I had said I would! A warm and excellent host. We loved the yurt - large, very comfortable beds, well equipped and stunning location. The yurts are well spaced out so you feel like you are in the field on your own. We loved the camp fire and BBQ. Perfect for the kiddies to run around and we will definitely be back. Thank you!Zoe8/27/2016
I had been wanting to stay in a yurt for ages and it didn't disappoint, the family loved it. Rach was there to greet us and was really helpful when we got lost trying to find the place. The yurt was beautifully furnished, loved the wood burner and the bathroom had a great shower. The surrounding country side is really lovely and great local pubs. So thumbs up from me!Sarah4/29/2018
Wow what a great experience, even in the rain... The yurts are beautifully made, the linen is fresh, the shower has hot water and the large basked of complimentary logs kept us going all weekend. We felt warmly welcomed and looked after. Once you go glamping like this, it's hard to go back to normal camping! Thank you for a lovely family weekend 🙂Charlie7/31/2017
