Family sized Yurt sleeping a maximum of 6 guests in snuggly comfort and style.
About Your Yurt
Natural light spills through an open oak stable door and three picture windows. Sit back and listen to the sounds of bird song and the rustle of the leaves in the morning breeze. Breathe deep as the fresh air fills your lungs.
A luxurious double bed, and two optional single beds complete with fresh linen and chest of drawers makes your rural retreat a home from home. On those rare occasions when the sun doesn’t shine, the natural insulation of wood floor, wool rugs and the warmth of a wood burning stove will keep you blissfully cosy.
This was our first holiday with our new baby, who's only 10 wks old. We loved it and so did she. The Yurt was perfect and the surroundings were amazing. Very peaceful and relaxed.Toby8/30/2016
Fantastic stay at Chestnut Yurt. Rach was really welcoming and made sure we were stocked up with ice blocks in the hot weather for our food. The yurt and bathroom were clean and well set up and it was great to sit inside with the wood burning stove at night or out in the sun with the Bbq and parasol in the day. We also visited a nearby pub for lunch so a few great walks nearby. Recommend 🙂Nicky6/18/2017
The yurt was perfect - big, clean, everything in working order, everything we needed. The location was amazing - quiet but not in the middle of nowhere, beautiful and a good distance away from other yurts. The host could not have been more helpful and accommodating - bringing us ice, extra sponges and just being so welcoming and friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more! Thank you so much.Sophie8/15/2016
What a wonderful Yurt, so well made, so well thought out and so well kitted out. Cooking area very easy, Loo and Shower clean and worked well, infinite hot water. Much better than a bed and breakfast!Peter8/23/2015
This was our first Air B&B experience and we cannot rate it highly enough. Charlotte gave immediate confirmation and then followed up with clear and personal information, even down to ensuring instructions were awaiting us for our drive to Goodwood the next day.Vanessa9/13/2015
A very cool experience, but with nice creature comforts such as a bathroom. We had some issues with water temperature but the boilers were being replaced just after our stay.
Cooking outdoors is fun, with bbq and camper stove. Great hospitality and help and close by to a supermarket and town if needed too.Ravi9/17/2020
My husband and I and our three daughters stayed for two nights to celebrate a special birthday. The yurt was well equipped and comfortable: it was nice to glamp with some of the home comforts (we normally camp). The location was beautiful and very peaceful and we were blessed with warm and sunny weather.Rachel met us and made sure we had everything we needed and Charlotte was there when we left to make sure we'd had a good stay. All in all, it was perfect and we would highly recommend it.Julia7/08/2016
We had a fantastic time despite the rain. The yurt was clean, tidy and spacious. Although the weather was poor, we didn't feel the cold inside the yurt at all. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom/showers were very close and convenient. Our host was very helpful with flexible check in and in general they went beyond what was expected. Would visit again in the summer to get more use out of the BBQ.Claudia9/23/2018
Returned here for another short family get away as it is the most peaceful and relaxing place I have ever stayed. Lovely nights sleep in the comfy beds and total quiet. Lots of space for our kids to run and play. Cosy fires and all the cooking equipment we needed. A really special time for all the family in a beautiful place! Thank you!Melissa9/04/2020
This was our first time in a Yurt. We loved it. A lovely peaceful location - starry skies and beautiful surroundings and we even spotted a deer in the field in the morning. The beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed. Good space for all 5 of us (travelling with three children 17, 14 and 9). Weather was sunny but freezing cold on the one night and we woke to a hard frost. But with the log burner going all night we were snug as bugs. A really lovely experience to get away from the world for a few days. Rach is friendly and makes everything very easy - thank you.Sharon5/06/2019
