Oak Yurt

Couples and your family sized Yurt sleeping a maximum of 4 guests in snuggly comfort and style.

About Your Yurt

Natural light spills through an open oak stable door and three picture windows.  Sit back and listen to the sounds of bird song and the rustle of the leaves in the morning breeze.  Breathe deep as the fresh air fills your lungs.

What’s inside

A luxurious double bed, and two optional single beds complete with fresh linen and chest of drawers makes your rural retreat a home from home. On those rare occasions when the sun doesn’t shine, the natural insulation of wood floor, wool rugs and the warmth of a wood burning stove will keep you blissfully cosy.

  • This place is truly magnificent. We will be back. Sooner rather than later. Every detail was considered. It really is a case of packing your clothes and a toothbrush, and you're away. The linen was beautiful, towels and face cloths soft, ample shampoo, conditioner, soap etc, ice packs supplied daily for the personal coolbox, the outdoor kitchen fully equipped, and the yurt and bathroom were spotlessly clean. I can't praise enough. I took fairy lights, firelighters, washing up liquid, blankets, candles, tea towels, torches etc. No need. It's all there. It provides all the joy of being outdoors without any of the effort. I have recommended the yurts to everyone I know. My 11 year old son son caught trout in the lake, crayfish in the stream, and my 4 year old daughter was able to run free, yet always be in sight. Bozhanka was the perfect host - present enough to answer any questions, yet never intrusive. I have been glamping many times in many locations, but this is something else. It's clear that the owner really cares about this business, and the guest experience. LOVE ❤️

We had a fantastic time this weekend - the yurt was perfect, the location was great for walks and there were lots of nice pubs within a couple of miles or so. Charlotte was lovely and really helpful throughout. Would definitely stay again.

What can I say. Idyllic location, quiet and fully back to nature.
The Yurt was spacious and clean. The oven was the perfect size to add a little warmth in what was never really a cold evening, but it took the edge off, until I made it too hot! Not complaining, fully my fault.

The camp kitchen and grill were ideal for our 5-night stay. The field was flat and felt huge. This gave the impression of a lot of sky, both for blue sky and sunny days, but also star-filled nights.

The bathroom was excellent and spotless.

This was our first experience in a Yurt and we can honestly say it was the most relaxed we had been for ages. As hosts Charlotte/Bozhanka and Rachel were great.

Finally...the bed. Totally awesome and comfortable. Our one pet peeve in life is when we spend money but cannot (Website hidden by Airbnb) such problem here. The bed and mattress were great. Excellent choices made.

Thank you for giving us a taste of nature and some simple life. Very comfortable, very relaxing and thoroughly recommended.

  • Me and my boyfriend had a incredibly relaxing 2 night stay in the Oak Yurt in October half term. The Yurt was perfect, really cosy once the fire started. A beautiful area with gorgeous country walks to be taken. A perfect place for a relaxing short stay.

Just back from a lovely weekend at the Oak Yurt. This place is fantastic! From the moment we arrived we felt completely relaxed. Rachel (onsite) was great, very welcoming and helpful - especially when we ran out of firelighters on Saturday night! - and the position is perfect, you really do feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.
The yurt itself is so nice, very comfortable bed, lovely and cosy with the woodburner going in the evening and the firepit and bbq gave us the perfect excuse to spend two evenings just relaxing in the peace and quiet.
The separate bathroom is a really nice touch too, a proper shower and fluffy towels... who needs a boutique hotel eh?!
Will definitely be coming back as soon as we can.
Thank you to Charlotte and Rachel for such a nice weekend.

Very peaceful stay with great hosts!
Bed was a little uncomfortable and the other yurts are closer than you might like if you're up for some seclusion.

  • We had a wonderful time in the yurt. We were in Sussex for the Goodwood Revival and that was a lovely place to stay.
Charlotte and Rachel were very welcoming and available.
The yurt is absolutely charming especially the bathroom.

I definitely recommend this place to discover how beautiful is Sussex.

Amazing Yurt in a gorgeous location. Very secluded and private and quiet. The stars at night were something else! Everything there that you could need. Would use again.

  • We had an amazing time here. Rachel was the perfect host and helped us in every way possible including received three Amazon parcels for us! We came here with our 1 year old son and had such a comfortable stay. The yurts are beautiful and it's very special to open your door in the morning and have a whole field for the kids to play in and to drink coffee in whilst watching the sun rise. A very special place indeed.

As a reluctant camper this yurt was everything I needed. A proper comfortable bed, the luxury of an ensuite, real kitchen facilities and the most beautiful starry nights. The wood burner was the highlight, due to a bit of damp weather, the ability to light a cosy fire to warm up and dodge the showers was perfect. Laying in bed at night with the fire crackling away was just the best. This was a great experience and we all hope to come back. Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

Beautiful location, secluded and peaceful. The yurts are well equipped and comfortable. Be sure to follow the directions given as this is hidden away and the sat nav doesn't bring you to the field. We got lost and thankfully were guided in by phone but the signal was intermittent, I was glad we arrived in the light. Top tip is to bring your wellies as the yurts are in a field and you will have wet shoes if wet or in the dewy morning. We enjoyed the fire pits and log burner and had the sun shone for us this would have been idyllic.
