Couples and your family sized Yurt sleeping a maximum of 4 guests in snuggly comfort and style.
About Your Yurt
Natural light spills through an open oak stable door and three picture windows. Sit back and listen to the sounds of bird song and the rustle of the leaves in the morning breeze. Breathe deep as the fresh air fills your lungs.
A luxurious double bed, and two optional single beds complete with fresh linen and chest of drawers makes your rural retreat a home from home. On those rare occasions when the sun doesn’t shine, the natural insulation of wood floor, wool rugs and the warmth of a wood burning stove will keep you blissfully cosy.
Charlotte's place is lovely. Rachel, the person taking care of the yurts (and us!) was very inviting, helpful and knowledable about the local area. The yurts felt like a home from home and were ready to accept us into the countryside from the moment we stepped into it. Nice spaced out so privacy is not a problem, but easy to meet your neighbours if you wanted to. We will be coming to stay again, for longer next time!Pete9/22/2015
We had a fantastic time this weekend - the yurt was perfect, the location was great for walks and there were lots of nice pubs within a couple of miles or so. Charlotte was lovely and really helpful throughout. Would definitely stay again.Matt8/18/2014
We had an awesome weekend in the yurt - it's in a huge field with amazing views and it's super quiet. We even saw a baby deer! It is also brilliantly set up with everything you could possibly need, and Rachel was so helpful too. We'll definitely be back! Would be a great place to go with 3 families as 3 of the yurts are in a row (but not too close, there's still lots of privacy).Sarah8/06/2017
Wonderful experience. The yurt was extremely comfortable and peaceful. Much to discover in the area. Our kids had a great time playing in the field and forest.Fabrice7/18/2019
We had a 3 night family mini break at the magically named Night Pastures. What a tonic. The yurt was set well apart from the other yurts and tents giving a lovely feeling of space and privacy. It was the ideal place for the children to run around and explore safely. The beds were comfy and the en suite facilities great - amazing you can get instant hot water that far down a meadow!
We also bought the half board food pack from the local pub which was delicious and made life much easier. The countryside in which Night Pastures is located is just gorgeous, yet it is an easy drive from London. We would definitely return.Alison7/05/2020
Rachel and Charlotte made us feel very welcome and Rachel checked in on us every morning and brought a fresh supply of logs! The setting is idyllic and peaceful. The yurts pure outdoor luxury; clean, comfortable and well equipped. Charlotte delivered a fantastic yoga and meditation session for us which set us up for the day. I'd suggest calling for clear directions prior to arrival as the telephone signal is weak and it's not the easiest place to find. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Night Pastures.Alison9/04/2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here with our two children (2 and 5 years old). Everything we needed to be comfortable while still feeling like a bit of an adventure. Great for some quiet, back to basics family time. Many thanks for making us so welcome 🙂 🙂Melissa4/16/2017
We had a wonderful time in the yurt. We were in Sussex for the Goodwood Revival and that was a lovely place to stay.
Charlotte and Rachel were very welcoming and available.
The yurt is absolutely charming especially the bathroom.
I definitely recommend this place to discover how beautiful is Sussex.Charless9/13/2015
We had an amazing time! And Rachel, who met us to show us around, was SO lovely and helpful.. The setting is just stunningly beautiful and even though the temp dropped to 1degree while we were there, we stayed cosy and warm in the yurt!Tara10/27/2018
Great place to stay specially with kids. Our kids love the dell with the little shallow stream and the tire swing. And we loved the wide open spaces, conmecting to the elements and the little luxeries the yurt had. Fabulous stay.Fiona4/19/2019
We had a wonderful time at the Oax Yurt and would highly recommend it. The beds are really comfy and the wood burner kept us cosy and warm, while the kitchen was well equipped with all we needed to have a great barbecue one night. There are lovely walks to do on the farm and we spotted a lot of wildlife -you truly feel like you are surrounded by nature... all the while having lovely fresh sheets and fluffy towels in the brand new bathroom!
Charlotte was very helpful and found a local bike company who hired us brand new bikes and dropped them right to the door of the Yurt, and Rachel who checked us in was really friendly. Thanks for a wonderful time, we will be recommending you to our friends and may even be back ourselves!Charlotte5/27/2014
